How TaxDome Protects You by Scanning All Files for Viruses

Every file uploaded to TaxDome is automatically scanned for viruses and malware to ensure secure storage. No matter who does the uploading, whether the firm or the client, or how it’s done—via the TaxDome portal online, the TaxDome desktop app, TaxDome Drive, or the mobile app—the same safety measures apply.

If a threat is detected, the file is deleted, and the user receives a notification.

To provide an extra layer of security, TaxDome doesn’t allow certain file types to be uploaded. Zip files cannot be stored on TaxDome; instead, they are unpacked so the files can be scanned for viruses or malware. To learn more about uploading zip files, visit this page.
